My mom introduced me a few years ago to Loreal's Double Extend Mascara. I have been a fan and loyal supporter since the first time I tried it. It really adds to your lashes and makes you look like you have some even when you don't have much to speak of (pregnancy does weird things to you, right girls?).Well, I was running low and found myself at Walmart without screaming kids to distract me and had a chance to browse the makeup isles. I automatically went to grab my usual Double Extend friend when something red caught my eye.
It too read Loreal Double Extend, but there was definitely something different about it. So, I picked it up and read and what I read intrigued me. This was something new - Double Extend Tubes. I decided to give it a go and bought myself some to try and I am so glad that I did! The product’s tagline and selling point is "get the look of salon lash extensions with mascara". Here's what it shows on the package:
I used it for the first time on Sunday and loved the look and the feel of it. My lashes felt smoothe, not brittle or stiff. I went through the day and suprised myself every time I looked in the mirror because my lashes were so long. I really felt like I had some extensions! I slept without washing my face that night and, sadly, didn't do a thing with myself all day on Monday, but still my lashes looked great and I had no smudges or flaking - it was awesome!When I finally did shower I just wiped my fingers over my lashes and the mascara, or "tubes" came right off and stayed together in a big clump that didn't get all over around my eyes. Like this:
I got out of the shower with no black smudges aroung my eyes and didn't have to use any soap around my eyes. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!I know this is a weird post and I am pretty much just being a commercial, but when you find something you love, you just have to share!
MOM - you will love this, especially since you have problems keeping mascara on in general. Trust me - Try it out!

Okay Erie, I am going to try it! That was the best commercial I've seen in a long time! By the way you still have lashes don't you? It looked like real ones mixed in with the fake ones in the picture. Yes I do trust you!
That is so cool. I am for sure going to try it. I think when my lashes fall out, new ones are not growing in. I feel like I can almost count them. I've seen fake eyelashes that look pretty real, so if this mascara doesn't work I might have to invest in some of those. Thanks for the tip!

I am SOLD! I swear my eyelashes get shorter every day! And the fact that it is easy to get off is GREAT! Thanks for posting this. I have looked at it but didn't think it could possibly be as good as it says. Thanks for letting all of us know. Who doesn't want long eyelashes?
Yeah!! I've seen these adds and wanted to try it out but just wasn't sure! Now I know...I'll have to go get some.
