My poor hubby has been so sick! It actually started last week with a migrane that lasted for 2 days over the weekend (he even missed church on Sunday because of it). Then he had to go in for some steroid treatments at LDS hospital. He went in Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to be hooked up to an IV and pumped full of steroids for a few hours. It made him feel really weird and he wasn't good for much for the rest of the week.He was diagnosed with Brachial neuritis in his arm. It has something to do with your immune system attacking your nerves and it's pretty painful. We are hoping that it what has been going on with his neck for the past few years and are hoping that the steroids will help with the pain in both his neck and arm. We are really hoping and praying that this is the answer.
Anyway, so he wasn't feeling himself because of the steroids, but then this past Sunday he woke up feeling really, really sick. He faked his way through church the best he could, but had the bishop and first counselor give him a blessing after bishopric meeting. He came home and crashed for the rest of the day feeling horrible and didn't go to work on Monday or Tuesday. On Wednesday he tried to go in, but only lasted for a few hours and came home. Then Thursday he was determined to go in to work even though he still did not feel well.
With all the talk about the Swine Flu and knowing his symptoms I called him at work and told him that it was not a good time to be at work with all the symptoms of the Swine Flu and he should come home before people at work got really upset with him for contaminating them! I didn't think that was what he had, but still he didn't need to spread whatever he did have!
He called and made an appointment with his doctor and she "feels confident" that he doesn't have the Swine Flu, but a really bad flu strain that lasts a minimum of 7 to 10 days. She told him not to go in to work until at least Monday and then to see how he feels then. His boss called him and said that he wasn't allowed to come back to work without a doctors note saying that he does not have the Swine Flu.
Is this just the worst timing for him to get the flu bug or what?? I feel bad for him though because he is really sick and just lays around doing nothing. Poor little bunny. I mean he has really felt horrible for over 2 weeks now and it's still not over yet! I hope his body heals itself soon because this is no fun!!
There are always things to make you smile out in the world though. . . enjoy!!

Oh poor bunny Bump! Erin you know what to do... he really deserves it. Do you have a bell?

That's no fun! We were going to pop in on you guys Sunday (we were in Stansbury for the blessing of Toddd's baby) but Jason needed to get back to meetings. Glad we didn't come by and contract whatever nastiness he has. Get well soon!!
