Gabby ran into the wall and got a nice goose egg. Good thing she has a hard head!
Corban started Jr. Jazz at the first of the year. He got to do it with his cousin, Peter. At first he was upset that it was just a learning camp (they don't start playing on a team until 3rd grade), but after his Grandpa Williams told him how important it was to learn fundamentals and to keep practicing he tried harder and had fun. He's a pretty talented kid.
The kids have really enjoyed living with their grandparents.
The cat is feeling more at home as well.
Bump is going full blast with school. He is even taking a spinning class to keep him exercising.
He struggles a bit with his programming teacher who has never taught a class before. He'll get it.
And some days when I am tutoring him in math I feel like this:
But he is actually picking it up nicely. He's super busy and working hard in each of his classes. I'm really having fun watching him learn and grow.
Quincy feels smarter with glasses on even if there is no glass in them. Here she is studying her scriptures.
On the 6th we celebrated our 16th Wedding Anniversary. It's amazing how I can love him more every year that goes by.
We were given a gift card for a movie. When we got into the theater we were so happy to see these awesome recliner seats. This theater was fabulous! After the matinee we went to dinner and then over to the McMillan's to play games.
When we got there all the kids were lined up playing army. I had to take a picture of this perfect row of kids. They had a fun time together. And we had a fun night celebrating our anniversary!

With me working now, Bump gets to take over some of my responsibilities. This week he went on his first field trip with one of the kids. I got to go with Gabby on hers earlier this year and we went to the landfill! Bump got to go with Quincy to Gateway Discovery Museum in Salt Lake. He was lucky and had a great time.
It was also red ribbon week and the kids dressed up a different way each day. This was crazy hair day. Bump was going to volunteer in Corban's class so he did his hair crazy too. Corban needed a hair cut anyway so we just got a head start before school. Poor Quincy got sick later on that day at school and ended up throwing up in front of her class. I brought her home at 2:15, she threw up a few more times and then fell asleep and slept all night! She felt all better in the morning and was able to go to school on Valentines Day.
Valentines Day!
After school on Valentines Day we took the kids to a matinee of the new Lego Movie. Sage and Zach (my niece and her husband) ended up going with us and so did Bump's parents. Everyone enjoyed the movie! Bump and his mom were laughing the hardest. It really is a cleaver, funny movie. You should see it if you haven't.
After the movie the kids were invited to Lee and Tricia's house for their annual spaghetti on the table Valentine's dinner. Tricia sent me these pictures of their fun night:
After dinner they watched Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2.

I finally got my first chance to referee. I was called to be a stake referee for the young women. Basketball has been going on for a few weeks, but I wasn't scheduled until this past Saturday. I psyched myself out about this calling. I am not the most athletic person and have never done anything like this before. I survived and it was actually kind of fun. Do you like my ref dress... I mean shirt? It's roomy and totally flattering! Not! :)
So, there's our first month and a half of 2014 in a nutshell. So far, so good!
