Father/Son Fishing Trip 2011

Every year Bump and his dad and brothers leave for a week long father/son fishing trip. They spend weeks planning out where they will be going each year and scheduling just the right time for good fishing. This year they went back to Ketchum, Idaho and the Big Wood river. Bump couldn't get the whole week off, so he left Thursday night and spent the weekend. After getting some local advice the guys headed out.
Jeremy, ready to go fishing - can you tell?
Ron showing Bump the size of fish he is going to catch today.
Bump - in heaven with a beautiful rainbow.

Most of the pictures are pretty random, but at least Bump took some this year. Normally I don't get any pictures from him. This picture is one that he took showing me "our" dream home with the river right out the back door.

Isn't this just the perfect hole? He said he just kept catching them out of this spot.
Darin, or Big D, as Bump calls him - showing off the white fish he caught.

Here was his "money fly" for the trip.

He took this picture because there was a really nice elk in the river upstream. Can you see the elk? It's the black lump thing at the top of the river.

I think Bump had a great time. It was a well deserved break for him, especially since he missed the Washington trip this summer. The guys sure missed Ty who wasn't able to make it from Ohio this year. We'll see where they all decide to go next year. And next year they should have some of the next generation of Williams boys along for the trip. Should be fun!
