These two (my niece, Amber Steen and Marcus Johnson) met earlier this year. They fell in love, got engaged and were married on August 6th before leaving for school in Nebraska. The fun thing about this wedding is that it landed on the heels of our big reunion in Washington, so we had extra people in town that normally wouldn't have been able to make it. Lucky Amber!
She looked beautiful! To help her look a little bit taller, since Marcus is 6'10, he bought her some high top Air Jordan high heels. It showed their love for basketball in a subtle sort of way. And it perfectly matched their red and black theme. . . or did the shoes establish the colors?
Here is my sister, Jamie's family, minus Zack (Sage's husband) who was just deployed to Iraq. One more girl to go and Marty won't be outnumbered any more!
