I had worked out with Erick when I was going to arrive in Germany so that he could pick me up without letting Tera know that I was coming. We really wanted to surprise her! My flight got in around 9am, so Erick got up early and took TJ with him and headed out while Tera was still sleeping. She called him while we were driving back to their house to ask where he was. He told Tera that he was having a little father/son time with TJ and that they would be home in about an hour.
When we got to the house he called to Tera, who was upstairs, to come down that he had a surprise for her. The kids were all really excited, but stayed so quiet about what the surprise was. She was still sore and walked kind of slowly, but I recorded the whole thing so that we could show her reaction.
Of course, she just cried. And I cried. When I stopped recording I had to give her a big hug. The reunion was priceless and I can't thank Lee and Trish enough for making the trip possible! It was an amazing thing and definitely needed. :) Enjoy the video! (She'll kill me for showing this to everyone because her house isn't perfect and she wasn't really dressed to be seen in public! But I love it!!)

This was so neat. Yes I cried :)I am so glad you were able to spend time together I can't imagine how hard this must be for you. I have a hard time having Tenille all the way in Logan!
