Corban got to participate in his first pinewood derby! He designed and mostly carved his car by himself after I showed him how to use an electric sander. He wanted it cub scout blue with gold flames. We made our own flame stickers and glittered them up. I was impressed and he loved it!
He won a few rounds and lost a few rounds and came out somewhere in the middle. He won the "Corban Monoxide" award and got a treat. He was bummed that he didn't get a trophy, but was happy with his candy. Not bad for his first time!
