Snowmen and Ornaments

It's been fun getting ready for Christmas around here. On Saturday we actually had some free time to just play with the kids. We decided to build a snowman family complete with a snow chicken. Each of the kids decorated their own snow person and we had a lot of fun.

A few weeks ago for FHE we made ornaments for our tree. I went the easy route and bought a foam kit that made 4 different puppet characters (these were faces that were supposed to be glued to popsicle sticks). There was a penguin, a snowman, reindeer and a gingerbread man. I just let the kids do their own thing and I thought I would share how creative they were with what they were given. These are pictures of the more unique ones that they made.

Our kids are at such a fun age right now for Christmas. Everything is exciting and magical and I am feeling it this year. More pictures of the holiday fun to come. . .
