Medieval Times

The day that Bump flew into Baltimore my parents had planned for us to go to Medieval Times for dinner and an amazing show!  Our team was the blue and yellow team and our knight was the only one who smiled so the kids all liked him.  We cheered loud for him and each skill that he performed with his horse.

Our knight threw Quincy a flower after he won it from the princess.  She was so excited and caught it out of the air with one hand when he threw it to her.

We all had fun spending time with Grandma and Grandpa and felt really spoiled!

After eating a wonderful dinner Grandpa said we had to have ice cream.  Who can say no to ice cream?

Gabby standing with her knight.
Corban loving the horses and swords.
There were some beautiful displays of horsemanship and we were very impressed with the whole show!

Grandma and the kids had fun trying on all the different fun hats at the shops.

Mount Vernon

Jamie wanted to go visit Mount Vernon more than anything else.  I am so glad that we did!  What a beautiful place to visit!  George Washington was an amazing man!  I am so glad that we got to visit and learn more about him and see his amazing home and gardens.  We had to leave earlier than we would have liked because we got to pick up Bump from the airport and head to dinner at Medieval Times with my parents!  What a fun day!

Gettysburg, PA

Since the GPS took us the wrong way the day before we went to Gettysburg the next day.  It was really cool.  They have completely updated the museum since I was last there in 2000.  The museum is beautiful and the Diorama was so realistic!  I think the kids loved learning more about the civil war and what happened at this historic battle.  There is a special spirit at Gettysburg that I feel each time I go.  Even with lots of people there visiting, there is still a sense of peace.
